Why did you come to Môn CF?

I came to Môn CF because I had heard from friends & acquaintances that they were fantastic in helping people to get back into employment and re-training, which is something I was keen to do.

Did you do any training? I did so many different courses which were a real boost to my CV. This included things like Equality and Diversity, Emergency First Aid, Customer Service and Fire Safety as well as the All Wales Core Skills training as part of the NHS Step Into Work programme.

Did you do any volunteering or work experience?

I completed a six week work placement at Ysbyty Gwynedd, working on the Renal Ward in the Administration Department. This helped to boost my confidence and give me real experience of working in a hospital setting.

What are you doing now?

I am currently working for the NHS on Bank as a Receptionist and Admin Assistant in a GPs surgery in Holyhead, though at present I am based at the Red Hi Site for suspected COVID-19 patients.

What do you think is the best thing about Môn CF?

The best thing about Môn CF is all the training you get and the continuous support in gaining paid employment. It means the world to me that I am now in employment and doing something I love! I am so happy I went with Môn CF as it has changed my life!
