Menna JonesMenna works as an Employment Support Mentor on the Strand 1 Active Inclusion Programme. The aim of the programme is to support long term unemployed and economically inactive people who are based outside of the Isle of the Anglesey Communities First Cluster back into training, volunteering and employment, Menna works with adults who are aged 25 and over.

Menna is focused on reducing their long term economic inactivity by removing the barriers they may have to entering employment and helps to increase their chances and opportunities for employability with training, skills and mentoring from the employment support services delivered through Môn CF.

rsz 2nicole thomasNicole works as part of the Active Inclusion Team, with the Adult and Youth Employment Mentors. Based outside the Anglesey Communities First Cluster, Nicole ensures all paperwork is recorded accurately and facilitates attends regular progress meetings with the Active Inclusion Performance Officer. Additionally Nicole supports customers during their initial registration process with Mon CF whilst also providing additional administrative support for the Employment Support Team.

Georgia ChapmanGeorgia works as part of the (C4W) Local Delivery Team, with the Adult Mentor, and Triage Support Officer, and the Community and Parent Employment Advisors (JCP Staff). Based within the Anglesey Communities First Cluster, Georgia works with young adults aged between 16 – 24 years old who are (NEET), not in education, employment or training.

rsz kathryn griffithsKath works with clients who are short term unemployed or are working under 16 hours and live across Anglesey. unemployed working up to Using a holistic approach, our CFW+ Mentors offer support to individuals with a range of employment support services delivered through Môn Communities First and the Welsh Government CFW+ Programme. Preparing and supporting clients into volunteering or work placements and improving their employability skills through training courses. Enabling clients to apply the skills they have learned when applying for jobs and attending interviews and increasing their confidence working with other people. Ensuring they have the best chances of increasing their potential and entering into employment.

Lynne Murphy

Lynne is the Administrator with the Employment Support Team. Using a holistic approach, our Employment Support Team offer help and guidance to individuals with a range of employment support needs.

Whilst attending to all the aspects of administration work, updating databases, contacting candidates when necessary etc., Lynne also helps to complete application forms, attends Information Days and other events. She says “there is no better feeling than knowing you helped someone achieve their goal and seeing the delight when they are accepted for the position they applied for.”

Una Jones

Rhys Roberts2

Rhys works closely with the employment support team to help individuals on their journey to work. Working across all Anti Poverty Projects within the Môn CF Cluster Delivery Plans, he has developed an effective and sustained working relationship with local employers to secure work based training and employability opportunities for our clients. Rhys has sourced valuable opportunities within various sectors including Retail, Health & Social care, Construction & Hospitality ensuring every effort is made to bring job seekers and employers together. He works closely with delivery agents on behalf of Welsh Government to create Jobs Growth Wales vacancies for local young people; and helps monitor and assist contractors with their community benefits obligation in relation to the Holyhead Vibrant & Viable Places Programme (VVP).

Gary Williams

Gary manages and supports the Communities for Work (C4W) delivery team to develop and implement the operation of C4W within the Môn Communities First Cluster; which is a standalone Welsh Government Programme that compliments the LIFT Programme and other Anti Poverty projects within the Môn CF Cluster Delivery Plans.

Gary is responsible for the priorities of the Prosperous Communities Projects and manages the Employment Support Team to deliver activities and initiatives for Financial Inclusion and Employment Support within the Môn CF Cluster Delivery Plans as well as any new relevant initiatives and programmes.

Working closely with individuals and community groups; Gary helps them to develop their capacity by enabling them to engage in community activities that focus on tackling poverty.
He involves local people in community consultations; to develop projects and initiatives which tackle poverty in the community.

Gary works with employers and training providers to identify and facilitate appropriate training and learning opportunities.

Diane Roberts

Diane works as part of the Active Inclusion Team which delivers support for job seekers throughout the Isle of Anglesey. She provides a service from a number of locations throughout the island which includes Holyhead, Llangefni, Amlwch as well as Bangor on the mainland. She works with 16-24 year olds.
