Môn CF work regularly in partnership with external agencies to combine skills sets and resources in order to provide the best service possible to the young people in the Communities First Areas.
Current and past partnership working had been with the following agencies:
Working together with these agencies, Môn CF has been able to facilitate and deliver subject specific sessions alongside experts within each agency field.
Môn CF’s youth team promote the delivery of accreditation on many internal youth projects. Whilst participating within a project, young people have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge on various subject topics.
In order to gain recognition for this, the young people can take part in an ASDAN Youth Achievement Award, Bronze, Silver & Gold.
Work portfolios are made that are completed during the projects to evidence the learning and development of the young people whilst participating on the projects.
Môn CF’s youth team work closely with the Family Engagement Officer based within Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi to develop accreditation specific to the needs of the young people.
External agencies are often utilised to gain accredited awards, such as NICAS Indoor Climbing Awards and Menter Môn’s Bocswn Music Project.
To participate in accreditation, young people can be aged 10 to 17.
Once young people complete an award their individual portfolio will be externally moderated and the young person will receive a certificate of completion to recognise their achievement.
