“Môn CF has helped many local people to start up new businesses in the last 3 years. These have included painters and decorators, clothes retailers, beauticians and barbers – plus many more.
The support we provide is practical and involves an introduction to running your own business. It can in most cases also include referral on to local enterprise agencies for additional help and support. These agencies often offer a service from Môn CF’s Holyhead office.
We can advise you about the ins and outs of being your own boss, point you in the direction of property owners (if you require premises) and generally be there for you as you move towards starting your business. We are always on hand for existing businesses who may need access to information and we were instrumental in setting up the Holyhead Town Centre Forum. This is a monthly meeting place for new and existing business people to come together to work jointly for the betterment of the town.
So if you are thinking about starting a business and are not sure where to start, why not pop into Môn CF. It may be the first step you’ll take into a brighter and exciting future for you and your family.
If you are thinking of setting up a community group or social enterprise we can assist you there as well with valuable information and a sign posting service for grants and further support from the relevant agencies.”
